Rider Information

I want to Ride in the Program?

We require that all perspective students come and view a class to know for sure if it is something they would like to do. When you come to observe a class an instructor will evaluate you to be sure that you are appropriate for the program. At that time you may request to be placed on the waiting list for the next available class.

Our class sessions are 9 weeks long. Costs include a $25.00 annual insurance fee and $10.00 per ride. All students are required to have completed Liability forms and a Physician Referral form in order to ride.

Students must have a disability and benefit from Equestrian Therapy to ride in the program. The student must be FOUR years of age or older and have a minimum sitting balance and head control of a 6 month old. Our weight limit is 180 pounds. Please contact the Equestrian Therapy Program to schedule a time to view a class. Thank you for your interest in Equestrian Therapy Program.
