Volunteers

Not only are our four-legged friends important, but equally important as our two-legged friends, our volunteers. The Equeatrian Therapy Program would not be possible without volunteers. The volunteer is one of the most important components in the riding program.

Volunteers act as horse leaders or sidewalkers, assisting the riders as needed. Qualified volunteers may also help with mounting and dismounting procedures and some enjoy helping groom and tack the horses.

In order to be a volunteer, we require that you:

• Be a minimum of fourteen years old.
• Complete the Volunteer Packet
• Plan to attend a mandatory volunteer training.
• Mail or fax your forms to the Program.

If you have nay questions, please call us. If classes are in session, call to arrange a visit and observe a class and see what we do.  We are very excited to share our wonderful program with you and look forwards to working with you.
